Although Tokyo hotel rooms are small, Domo was a fresh, light room. The beds were very comfortable. It was our first experience of a hotel in Japan, and our first of their small pillows! But these ones were very soft. We couldn't find any English channels on the TV, but that may be our own lack of knowledge. We could have asked. Being close to the train station was possibly what we liked the most. Especially as we were only learning to negotiate the different train lines. The Fukotoshin line to Shinjuku and Shibuya was easy! 7 Eleven and Lawsons both so close. Even good, cheap restaurants across the road which we went to twice as we were just so tired from walking! Loved Domo. Arigato!

Domo hotel is a regular 3 star hotel, so don't expect a high end accommodation. You get what you pay for. With that said, all the basic requirements are all there. I like it that they changed our towels every day and threw the tiny garbages in our rooms also every day. Are Japanese garbage cans in hotels really that tiny? lol! The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to a train station and around 15 minute walk to Shinjuku center. So location is fair. Also, surprisingly, the room is a little larger than most budget hotel rooms i stayed in Japan.

We loved this hotel for it's handy proximity to restaurants, cafes, convenience stores and transport eg. train station right across the road, and others close by; it's stylish decor - even though the room was small (which we were expecting), we loved the concrete walls and tasteful interior design. The room even had a balcony and a window that opened if in need of some fresh air. An overall comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Easy check in and super clean room! The staff were welcoming and we really enjoyed exploring Tokyo from here. The room is serviced everyday with fresh towels and a made bed. The Wi-Fi is great and only a few steps from subways and a 7-eleven / Lawson . You also agave a private bathroom in your room as well. I even had my JRPass sent to this hotel so that I could pick it up from them when I arrived in Japan.

The hotel location is great, it’s next to a Lawson and train station. 10mins walk to the busy Shinjuku area. The room is also the most spacious one we stayed in Japan, we push the single beds together and we can open 2 large and 1 small luggage fully. Hotel also does house keeping everyday.
